Midleton – Very Rare 2026 (40%)

Midleton Very Rare 2026 is the 43rd annual release of this Irish whiskey and the sixth vintage under Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman. It is bottled at 40% ABV. The blend brings together five distillate styles, three single pot still and two single grain, with components aged between 14 and 36 years. All were matured in American oak bourbon barrels, a mix of first, second and third fill. One grain parcel, made from malted and unmalted barley, has been aged for more than two decades. The blend is described as having citrus, lemon zest and orange peel, rose petal and geranium, crème brûlée, milk chocolate and butterscotch.
