Midleton – Very Rare 2026 Vintage Release (70cl, 40%)

Midleton Very Rare 2026 is the annual vintage release from Midleton Distillery in Ireland, in a 70cl bottle at 40%. It is the 43rd edition and the sixth created by Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman. The blend draws on ten parcels of whiskey aged between 14 and 36 years, combining the distillery's three single pot still styles with two single grain whiskeys. It features 15 to 16 year old traditional pot still from first-fill bourbon barrels, and its oldest part is a 36 year old grain whiskey from a second-fill bourbon cask. The nose offers caramel, vanilla, butterscotch and toasted oak with kiwi, citrus zest and apricot. The palate moves from creamy butterscotch and vanilla frosting to cinnamon, ginger and mocha, and the finish is vanilla with gentle spice.
