Midleton Very Rare 2026 (70cl, 40%)

Midleton Very Rare 2026 is the latest annual release in the Midleton Very Rare series from Midleton Distillery in Ireland, issued in a limited run. It is a blend of long-matured single pot still and grain whiskeys drawn from the Midleton warehouses and put together by the Master Distiller. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers ripe pear, honey, vanilla and light floral notes, with a little oak behind. The palate is silky, with caramel, soft fruit, creamy vanilla and delicate spice. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness, soft wood and gentle spice.
