This is a four-year-old single barrel straight bourbon from Milam & Greene in Texas, bottled at cask strength of 62.15% (124.3 proof) in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is 80% corn, 10% rye and 10% malted barley.
The nose is described as maple syrup, raisins, oak, toffee and sweet cocoa. The palate brings soft oak, pecan praline, dark chocolate balls, spice, crème brûlée, sweet black tea and a macchiato with brown sugar. The finish is long, round and oily, with the alcohol well integrated.
