Milam & Greene Unabridged is a cask-strength, non-chill-filtered bourbon, bottled at 59% in a 750ml bottle.
Select barrels of Kentucky-distilled bourbon are moved to the Texas Hill Country for further maturation in its wide temperature swings, a process the distillery calls Texification. The mashbill is 70% corn, 22% malted rye and 8% malted barley, fermented with a proprietary yeast.
The nose brings maple syrup, caramel, dark cherry, fig and sweet almond. The palate is full and viscous, with dark cherry cola, brown sugar, black tea and marzipan. The finish is long and warming, with caramel, dried fruit and oak.
