Miyagikyo – Single Malt 10 Year Old Limited Edition (70cl, 45%)

A limited edition 10 year old single malt from Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery in Japan, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Masataka Taketsuru opened the distillery near Sendai in 1969 as the Sendai distillery, and it was renamed Miyagikyo in 2001. Its first single malt appeared in 1989, and this age statement returns ten years after the earlier one disappeared. The bottle has a new look, with a washi label and a green shade called Fukamidori replacing the purple of earlier editions.
