Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Chiedi Alla Polvere Contesa

A red wine from Az. Agricola Contesa, made from selected Montepulciano grapes in Abruzzo. After careful fermentation it is aged in oak barrels, giving sweet spice, mature cherry and tobacco notes. In the glass it shows a deep ruby colour, with enveloping aromas of red fruit and balsamic hints. The palate is full, soft and well balanced, with silky tannins. It suits robust dishes such as braised meats and aged cheeses.
