This is an Australian single malt from Morris, a distillery that shares its site with the family's winery. The whisky is matured first in a mix of French and American oak and ex-wine barrels, then finished in Rutherglen Morris Muscat barrels from that winery.
The Muscat finish brings rich, sweet, dried fruit: figs, sultanas and prunes. Creamy vanilla and a hit of smoky spice come through on the finish.
