Morris Australian Single Malt Whisky Muscat Barrel

Morris Muscat Barrel is an Australian single malt whisky given two stages of maturation. It first rests in a mix of French and American oak casks that previously held wine, then spends an extended second period in ex-fortified Muscat barrels from the Morris winery. The result is creamy in the mouth, with dark fruit and malted barley sweetness giving way to vanilla, cocoa and warming cinnamon. The nose is rich with dates, figs and dark molasses. The palate is balanced and complex, with dried fig, sweet malt, vanilla and spice. The finish carries oak influence and lingers.
