Morris – Muscat Barrels Australian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is an Australian single malt from Morris, matured in a combination of French and American oak ex-wine barrels. It is then finished in Morris Muscat barrels, which were previously used to make muscat. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky has a deep copper colour with reddish hues. The nose is rich with dates, figs and the sweetness of dark molasses. On the palate come dried fig, sweet malt, vanilla and spice, with a creamy mouthfeel. The finish shows oak influence and lingers.
