Morris Rutherglen 36 South Double Grain is an Australian whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is made at the Morris distillery in country Victoria, which has been home to the Morris family since 1859, using local wheat and barley and water from the snowy mountains. The name refers to the distillery's latitude.
It is golden honey in colour. The nose has raspberry jam and toasted cereal, then vanilla cream. The palate brings dried red fruit and lightly charred oak, and the finish is long and buttery with spiced gingerbread.
