A single malt from Australia, bottled at 46% ABV in a 700ml bottle. Its primary maturation takes place in French and American oak casks that previously held wine. It then spends an extended period in barrels that held fortified Muscat. The nose is rich with dates, figs and dark molasses. The palate is creamy and well balanced, with dried fig, sweet malt, vanilla and spice. The finish carries a clear oak influence and lingers on the palate.
