Morris Rutherglen Tokay Barrel is an Australian whisky from Victoria, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is a deep copper with reddish hues.
It matured in French and American oak ex-wine barrels, then was finished in Morris Muscat barrels that had previously held the winery's Muscat.
The nose is rich with dates, figs and dark molasses. The palate is creamy, with dried fig, sweet malt, vanilla, cocoa and cinnamon spice. The finish shows oak influence and a lingering aftertaste.
