This is the Mortlach Special Release 2022, called The Lure of the Blood Moon, a single malt from Speyside, Scotland. It is in a 70cl bottle at 57.8% ABV.
Rather than a single cask type, the whisky was finished in three: Tawny Port, Red Muscat and virgin oak. Together these casks make up the finish of this Special Release.
