Mosgaard Palo Cortado Cask is an organic Danish single malt, bottled at 53% in a 50cl bottle. It matured in custom-built American white oak casks that first held a Palo Cortado sherry made by Gitte and Jes Mosgaard in Spain, which spent 1.5 years in the wood before the whisky went in. Expect aromas of malt, caramel, green apples, grapes, marzipan, lemongrass, bitter oranges and ripe plums. The palate balances sweetness, spice and fresh citrus.
