Mosgaard Peated Young Malt is an organic single malt from southern Funen in Denmark. It is made from organic barley, malted and dried over heat from heather peat, and the finished whisky has a smoke level of 25 ppm. It is matured in small ex-Bourbon casks, built from larger old casks, which add a creamy sweetness and notes of almond and vanilla alongside the heavy peat smoke. It is bottled unfiltered at 48%.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
