This is an organic single malt from Mosgaard in Denmark, bottled at 48% in an outturn of 130 bottles. The spirit is made from Danish organic Pale Ale malt grown at Gyrup in Thy. It was matured from start to finish in small 54 litre second fill port wine casks, which lend a gentle port character and leave the distillate in the lead, unlike the heavier sherry style found in many Mosgaard releases. The notes describe fresh fruit, dark caramel and malt, with touches of vanilla, coconut and straw.
