Mossburn Island Blended Malt Cask Bill No. 1

This is a blended malt made from single malts of the Scottish islands. It was first matured in American bourbon casks, then finished in Mossburn Cask Bill No. 1, a purpose-built cask with a base from Oloroso sherry casks and a top of well-charred virgin European oak. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration. Island smoke and spice lead the nose. The palate shows clear oak with a touch of tannin and spice, dried fruit and pepper, all with rich island smoke. The finish is long and full, with a slightly dry, warming kick.
