Mount Gay Exceptionally Aged 15 Year Old is a Barbados rum and the first from the distillery to carry an age statement on its label. It is bottled in a 70cl bottle.
The rum was distilled on a single column still under then-Master Blender Jerry Edwards. Master Blender Trudiann Branker chose this blend in 2025. It contains no added sugar and no flavouring, and was distilled, matured, blended and bottled at St. Lucy.
The nose offers vanilla, a floral touch, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, ripe banana and toasted almond. The palate brings butterscotch, creamy vanilla, plum and lively orange zest, and the finish is very long, tinged with cocoa and a pinch of sea salt.
