Murphy's Premium Irish Whiskey

Murphy's Premium Irish Whiskey is an Irish blend produced by Irish Distillers in Midleton. It combines malt and grain whiskey in roughly equal parts, the malt at about ten years old and the grain at three to four. The nose is delicate and malty, with soft toffee, light vanilla and caramel, a hint of salt and a faint trace of smoke. On the palate, grassy, barley-rich malt leads, with a little wild fruit, drying oak and a touch of spice. The finish is lightly spiced, with malt and vanilla lingering.
