Nagahama – Amahagan World Malt Edition Peated (47%)

Nagahama Amahagan World Malt Edition Peated is the second bottling from the Nagahama house, bottled in early 2021 at 47% ABV. It marries selected malt whiskies from the distillery's own production, made from peated barley malt, with peated whisky from around the world. The distillery had not yet made enough of its own whisky for a bottling drawn from it alone, which is why it took this route. The name Amahagan is simply Nagahama spelled backwards.
