Natterjack Irish Whiskey Batch 1 is the first release of this Irish whiskey from Gortinore Distillers & Co. in Waterford. It is triple distilled and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, presented in a tube.
It is matured in virgin American oak, which adds warmth and spice.
The nose is soft vanilla, light spices and a hint of caramel. The palate is smooth and pleasantly sweet, with honey, oak and subtle spices. The finish is warm, slightly spicy and nicely rounded.
