Nc'nean – Ainnir Inaugural Release Organic Single Malt

Nc'nean Ainnir is the first release from the Nc'nean distillery, which stands on the Morvern Peninsula on Scotland's west coast. It is an organic single malt in a small batch, presented at natural cask strength and filled into 1,320 individually numbered bottles made of fully recycled glass. The whisky is a vatting of five casks: two ex-bourbon casks and three STR wine barriques, meaning the staves were shaved, toasted and re-charred. Distillery manager Gordon Wood, Annabel Thomas and the team chose them for how well they show the character and range of flavours in the distillery's spirit.
