Nc'nean – Ainnir Inaugural Release Organic Single Malt

Ainnir is the first release from Nc'nean, the organic distillery on the Morvern Peninsula on Scotland's west coast. It is a small batch single malt bottled at natural cask strength. The whisky is a vatting of five casks: two ex-bourbon casks and three STR wine barriques, in which the wood was shaved, toasted and re-charred. Distillery manager Gordon Wood, Annabel Thomas and the team chose them for how well they showed the character of the distillery's spirit. It was filled into 1,320 individually numbered bottles made from fully recycled glass.
