This is a single cask Nc'Nean Aon, filled in 2020 and bottled in 2025 after five years in an STR red wine cask. It was released by Kirsch Import for the Awakening Series 2025 at a cask strength of 59.6%.
Only 275 bottles were filled, in 70cl, and the label was designed by Emily Bunn. The STR cask adds red fruit, berries, vanilla, caramel and spicy oak to the fruity Nc'Nean style.
The nose is red fruit, caramel, honey, vanilla and lightly toasted oak. The palate is berries, honey, toffee and spice with a creamy texture. The finish is long and sweet-spicy, with red wine, oak and vanilla.
