Batch 1 is an organic Scotch single malt from Nc'Nean, a distillery founded by Annabel Thomas on her parents' farm and run on renewable energy. It was distilled in April, May and July 2017 to a light and fruity spirit recipe.
The whisky was matured in a mix of 65% STR red wine casks and 35% ex-Bourbon casks, then bottled in late August and early September 2020 at 46%. The batch came to 5,040 bottles, and it is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
