Huntress 2024: Orchard Cobbler is an organic single malt from the Nc'Nean distillery in Scotland, released as a limited edition of 6,153 bottles. It was distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2024 at 48.5% ABV, without colouring or chill-filtration.
The whisky matured in a mix of STR red wine casks (66%), bourbon casks (31%) and Oloroso sherry casks (3%). Its fruitiness is put down to a week of distilling that followed a change of recipe.
On the nose it is described as cherry and marzipan cake, apricot jam and vanilla custard, with a hint of peppermint tea.
