This is the 2026 Huntress release from Nc'nean, a single malt made from organic barley and fermented with Belgian ale yeast. The yeast gives it a distinctly malty character.
It was matured in three types of cask: STR wine barrels, ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose suggests fresh, warm cake, buttered toast and sweet fig jam. The palate begins with a subtle minerality and fresh pastry, then turns buttery and creamy with a deep, dark sweetness.
