Batch 1 is an organic single malt from Nc'nean distillery on the Morvern peninsula, on Scotland's west coast. It followed the distillery's first release, Ainnir, in August 2020.
The spirit was distilled from organic Scottish barley and fermented with Anchor and Fermentis yeast strains. It was filled in April, May and July 2017 into a combination of 65% STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) red wine casks and 35% ex-bourbon casks.
