Nc'nean – Organic Single Malt Batch 1

This is Batch 1 from Nc'nean, an organic Scottish single malt made on the Morvern Peninsula, on Scotland's west coast. It was bottled in August 2020, shortly after the distillery's maiden release, Ainnir. The spirit was distilled from a wash of organic Scottish barley, fermented with Anchor and Fermentis yeast strains. It was filled in April, May and July 2017 into a combination of 65% STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) red wine casks and 35% ex-Bourbon casks.
