Nc'nean – Organic Single Malt Quiet Rebels: Matthew (70cl, 48.5%)

Quiet Rebels: Matthew is an organic single malt from Nc'nean, blended by the distillery's blender, Matthew, and inspired by their love of sherry and cinema. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 48.5%, without chill-filtration or added colour. The vatting is 47% Manzanilla cask whisky, 51% bourbon cask whisky and 2% Oloroso sherry butt. The Manzanilla casks were filled in April 2020, the bourbon casks in August 2019 and the Oloroso butt in September 2017. Bottled in August 2026, the edition runs to 4,700 bottles. On the nose, sweet and salty toasted notes join baked pineapple and roasted hazelnuts. The palate pairs sweet pineapple with nutty depth and salted caramel, and the finish is lightly dry and spicy.
