Nc'nean – Organic Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Nc'nean Organic Single Malt is made from Scottish organic barley and matured in a deliberate mix of casks: 55% STR red wine, 43% ex-American whiskey and 2% Oloroso sherry. The red wine casks add jammy fruit and texture, while the small share of sherry adds gentle spice. It is bottled in small batches that can differ slightly from one another, at 46%, without chill-filtering or added colour. The 70cl bottle is made from fully recycled glass. The nose brings orange peel, apricot, raspberry jam and a biscuity note. On the palate there are lemon cream, stone fruit, spicy rye bread, honey and soft caramel. The finish is medium in length, with juicy fruit and creamy notes.
