This single malt Scotch from Nc'nean belongs to the Quiet Rebels range, which is dedicated to the people who work at the Highland distillery. This bottling is dedicated to Gordon, the distillery manager.
The whisky is a vatting of shaved, toasted and re-charred red wine casks (74%), sherry casks (19%) and Rivesaltes casks (7%).
The nose is creamy and peachy, with warming spiced orange, brown sugar and vanilla. The palate shows spiced fig jam, orange and vanilla oak spice. The finish brings dark fruits, a zing of oak char and caramel.
