Lorna is an organic single malt Scotch from Nc'Nean, the second release in its Quiet Rebels series. It was distilled in February 2019 and bottled in August 2022 at 48.5%, in a 70cl bottle. The barley was organically grown.
Most of the maturation took place in ex-bourbon casks, with a share in ex-Pineau des Charentes casks. The outturn was 7,560 bottles.
The nose is mild, with flowers, fruit, malt and vanilla that build slowly. The palate is stronger, with fruit, spice, vanilla, white pepper, grapes and caramel, and the finish is medium in length with peach and malt.
