NED Green Sash Reserve is an Australian whisky bottled at 44% in a 70cl bottle. It is made by taking aged NED barrels and giving the whisky extra time over oak for added character.
It is designed to be drunk neat, and the head distiller also suggests it in an Old Fashioned or a whisky highball.
The nose is oak, caramel and vanilla with a hint of almond. The palate is dark chocolate, sweet vanilla and oak, followed by almond and macadamia. The finish is long, with vanilla, milk chocolate, orange peel and oak.
