Ned Sounds of Bathurst #26 David Reynolds Limited Edition (50cl, 45%)

Sounds of Bathurst #26 is an Australian whisky from Ned, made for motor racing fans and issued in 2022 as a limited edition in a 50cl bottle at 45% ABV. It is the second edition of the Sounds of Bathurst collection. The reserve grade whisky was matured in barrels at a barrel house in Melbourne, inside a sensory container. For over 1,000 hours the barrels were played a recording of David Reynolds and reigning Bathurst champion Lee Holdsworth's race laps from the 2021 Bathurst 1000. The engine sound sends ultrasonic waves through the barrels, which is said to speed up ageing. The bottle carries the racing number and name of Penrite Racing's David Reynolds, along with a map of the Bathurst track.
