Honour is an Australian whisky from the NED Barrel House, part of The Wanted Series. It is a limited edition in a 50cl bottle at 48% ABV.
The label art recalls the bare-knuckle boxing match Ned Kelly fought against Isaiah Wright at the Imperial Hotel in Beechworth in 1874, which lasted 20 rounds. It won gold at the 2022 Melbourne International Spirits Awards and silver at the 2021 Australian Distilled Spirits Awards.
The nose offers rich orange and caramel, then oak, raisins and vanilla. The palate is sweet, rich oak with chocolate, orange peel, toasted vanilla and Christmas cake. The finish is long, with oak softened by lingering dark chocolate.
