Nelson Brothers Reserve Bourbon (53.9%)

Nelson Brothers Reserve is a bourbon bottled at 53.9% ABV (107.8 proof). It is the bolder, more robust companion to the Classic release. The Nelson brothers select the richest, most heavily aged barrels from their inventory and blend them for this expression. The nose is deep, with dark cherry, caramel, toasted oak and old leather. The palate is full-bodied and viscous, with dark brown sugar, baked orchard fruit and vanilla cream, balanced by cinnamon and barrel char. The finish is very long and warm, with dark cocoa, dry oak and sweet spice.
