Nero di Troia Puglia - Poggio Marù

A red with marked but controlled personality. It has a deep ruby colour and aromas of ripe black fruit, a light violet floral note and a savoury-earthy undertone. The palate is full, with well-present but polished tannins, freshness that keeps it balanced, and a finish recalling plum, black pepper and herbaceous hints. It suits roast or grilled meats, rich ragù, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes and Puglian tradition. Served cool, it shows its energy and versatility; a few hours in a decanter improves aromatic harmony.
