Poggio Marù's Susumaniello is a medium ruby red with slight violet reflections. Its aromas recall ripe cherry, small red fruits and a hint of sweet spice, with floral and herbaceous notes. The palate is lively and balanced, with well-calibrated freshness, pleasant savouriness, medium body and soft tannins. The finish is fresh, with fruity returns and a spicy touch. It suits everyday dishes such as cured meats, medium-aged cheeses, tomato pasta, white meats and pizza. Serve at around 16-18 C.
