Never Say Die Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (70cl)

Never Say Die Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. It was distilled and aged in Kentucky for five years, then shipped across the Atlantic in its original barrels for at least another year of ageing and bottled in Northern England. The name comes from a champion racehorse that won against the odds. The nose is deep, with dark berry compote, root beer candies and chocolate ganache. On the palate come blackberry, spiced grape soda, clove and ginger, toasted vanilla bean, poached pear and charred oak. The finish is creamy and vanilla-sweet, with orange candy and charred oak.
