This is an eight-year-old straight rye from New Riff Distillery, bottled in bond at 100 proof in a 75cl bottle. The mashbill is 95% rye and 5% malted rye, and the whiskey is not chill-filtered.
New Riff was founded in 2014, and this rye has spent at least eight years in the barrel.
It is described as spicy and full-bodied, with notes of spice and oak and a hint of sweetness.
