New Riff 8 Year is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey aged for eight years. New Riff Distilling was founded in 2014 and has set whiskey back for long-term ageing since then.
The rye is unfiltered and draws on the sour mash traditions of Kentucky whiskey-making. It is described as supple and spicy, built on a foundation of mature Kentucky whiskey.
