Nikka Coffey Grain is a Japanese single grain whisky from Nikka, in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled mainly from corn in a traditional Coffey still, so malted barley does not lead its character as it would in a single malt.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with ripe pear, cherry, exotic fruit, citrus, coconut, vanilla and pastry. On the palate it is round and soft, with banana, caramel, vanilla and a creamy texture. The finish is gentle, fruity and lightly spiced, with vanilla, citrus and caramel.
