Nikka From the Barrel Extra Marriage (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From the Barrel Extra Marriage is an anniversary edition of Nikka From the Barrel, bottled at 51.4% in a 50cl bottle. The master blender created a special blend that was given a marrying period twice as long as that of the original. It combines whisky from Miyagikyo and Yoichi with Coffey grain whisky, matured in bourbon and sherry casks. The nose brings beeswax, grilled pineapple, flowers, nutmeg and ginger. The palate is complex, with medicinal smoke, citrus, candied fruit, honey and cocoa. The finish is long, with wax and spice to the fore.
