Nikka From The Barrel is a Japanese whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 51.4% ABV. Its colour is a deep amber with golden highlights.
Smoke leads on the nose, alongside ripe peach and cherries, almonds, orange peel and a dry hint of resin. The palate follows the nose: smoke and almonds again, with orange and a note of mint. It is dense and full-bodied, and the finish is slightly bitter without turning astringent.
