Nikka Miyagikyo 10 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, founded in 1969 by Masataka Taketsuru and part of Nikka Whisky Distilling. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour, and is unpeated.
The distillery is known for fruity, floral malts. The nose is clean and light with a floral lead: lily, broom, fennel and fruit, with a touch of nut and pine. The palate is medium-bodied, silky and lively, with soft fruit and balanced oak. The finish is long and rounded, with mild fruit notes fading gently.
