Nikka Miyagikyo 12 Years Old Single Malt (Vintage Bottling) (75cl, 43%)

This is a 12 year old Japanese single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, bottled at 43% in an older vintage presentation. The label reads "Sendai Miyagikyo". It is thought to have been released between the late 1990s and the mid 2000s, and the code on the back label points to a bottling date of around 2006. Nikka stopped producing all of its aged Miyagikyo expressions in 2015 because of a shortage of aged stock, so this older style is no longer made.
