Nikka Miyagikyo Aromatic Yeast 2022 Edition (47%)

Nikka Miyagikyo Aromatic Yeast is a Japanese whisky from Miyagikyo, Nikka's softer second distillery. It was made with aromatic yeast, which encourages a more fruity flavour. It was bottled in 2022 as part of the Nikka Discovery range, at 47% ABV. The nose brings rose water, coconut, stone fruit and vanilla. On the palate come fresh croissants, pear, green leaves and heather honey, and the finish carries cherry blossom, grass and chamomile.
