Nikka Miyagikyo is a Japanese single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, matured in sherry casks.
The sherry maturation gives it a rich flavour with deep fruit tones and a soft, malty finish.
The nose offers ripe red fruit, malt and a hint of caramel. The palate is soft and fruity, with raisins, apple and a touch of spice. The finish is long and warming, with a subtle sherry influence and oak.
